Spaceout.gov.sg: An Unsolicited Redesign

-Adding predictive layer of journey planning (alternative location suggestions, optimal time recommendations)

Times are tough now. The COVID-19 pandemic has shown no signs of abating, and governments are meticulously handling the evolving situation.

In Singapore- the country which I live in- there have been numerous emergent initiatives which often leverage on technology to help citizens better cope with the situation. The new Trace Together mobile application developed by GovTech (Singapore) is a newsworthy example of reducing the frictions inherent in contact tracing. Feeling unwell and want to know where the nearest clinic is? FluGoWhere aggregates a list of Public Health Preparedness Clinics for you. National Parks Board also has a site that tells users of crowd levels at parks, for them to make a more informed…
